Crystal Lake Entertainment hat angekündigt, dass man an einem neuen Videospiel Entwickelt welches auf dem Horrorfilm Freitag der 13. basiert.

Dies wird das erste offizielle Freitag der 13. lizenzierte Spiel um den Hockeymasken Psychopath seid dem NES im Jahr 1989.

EGM berichtet das ein Koop- und Multiplayer-Modus enthalten sein wird. Ihr spielt eine kleine Gruppe von Überlebenden, die gegen einen Spieler antreten, welcher in der Rolle von Jason Voorhees ist. CEO von Crystal Lake Entertainment, sagte dazu:

With a new television series on the horizon and plans announced for the thirteenth installment of the film franchise, we felt the timing was right to finally explore Jason, Camp Crystal Lake, and the rest of the Friday the 13th story in interactive form.
We have some exciting new ideas for a game that supplies plenty of replay value, while delivering the kinds of thrills and scares that fans of the franchise have come to expect.

Die offizielle Präsentation von ‘Friday the 13th’ wird in ein paar Wochen kommen. Dann wird auch das bisher unbekannte Entwickler Studio bekannt gegeben.
